Brunch in the Park, Orlando

There's something about serving food outdoors, surrounded by people who genuinely love to eat, drink, and connect, that just feels like home to us. Brunch in the Park brought us right back to that feeling.

We showed up with something fun, a little unexpected, and very us. Mandi, our bartender, created a cocktail for the day called The Hound Dog: a twist on the classic Greyhound, built with Buffalo Trace bourbon, Chinola Pineapple Liqueur, grapefruit juice, and a touch of lavender. It drank bright and easy, with just enough depth from the bourbon to keep it interesting.

Alongside it, Chef Heberto put together a dish that turned a few heads: Smoked Duck Breast with Orzo Carbonara. Rich, smoky, and comforting, but still light enough for a daytime crowd. And honestly, one of the best parts of the day was watching people who weren't so sure about duck take that first bite… and then completely change their mind. That's always a win.

The response to both was incredible. Conversations kept flowing and the energy never dipped. It reminded us why we do this.

Events like Brunch in the Park take us back to our roots. Before the restaurant, before the walls, when we were running pop-ups around Orlando and pulling up our food truck to different breweries and wine bars. Back then, it was all about serving something we were proud of and connecting with whoever came by.

Not much has changed.

At the end of the day, it's still about putting great food and drinks in front of people and being part of a community that cares about those things just as much as we do. That kind of connection never gets old.

We're grateful to have been part of it, and even more grateful for everyone who stopped by and spent a little time with us.

If you missed The Hound Dog at the park… don't worry. You might just see it pop up again soon.
